Libby Hoffenberg is an artist from Honolulu with a background in histories and philosophies of science, technology, and medicine. Currently pursuing an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, she creates paintings at the intersection of the art image and the knowledge image. Her work often queries the boundaries between sciences and pseudosciences, as she investigates visual cultures traversing science and media, the semiotics of contemporary mysticism, and the legacies of the American counterculture embodied in New Age ideas.
